This is really BAAAAD! 700MB of Mint Linux 7 downloaded in 1 hour 8 minutes!! FTP, not torrent (no seeders).
I've been used to this size download taking 5 1/2 hours or more until the telco about a month ago finally found out that there really was something wrong with my DSL line. I was paying for 1 1/2 MB service but getting usually less than .5MB; however, they insisted the problem was inside the house. Nothing I could do -- I'm out in the boonies and they are my only option for ISP. Then lightening got their substation and, after they fixed everything, I'm receiving at 1.3 MB/s. They apologized but "declined" to refund any of my money.
Now to burn and install. This will go on my laptop production system, not on the tower experimental system as a virtual guest.

Ah, young webmaster... java leads to shockwave. Shockwave leads to realaudio. And realaudio leads to suffering.
