OK, I've put it on my list to try. The documentation and forums being in French will be a handicap for me :^>.
Right now, though, I'm struggling with my download of Mint 7. The D/L was OK, but the CD I burned doesn't have anything on it. Neither does the CD I burned as a backup for my data (I want to reformat the HD and reorganize my partitions). "Bad superblock" errors; '# dmesg | tail' said there weren't any recognizable tracks on either CD. K3b, reported successful burns for both, but when I play like I'm going to make a new burn on either CD, K3B says they are empty! I tried the data burn on two different CDs and got the same results. Bad CD reader/burner on my laptop???
I tried to upload the data to online storage but Boxstr has gone belly-up, Wuala won't accept my email archive, and Opera's Unite alpha isn't working.
So, now, to get my data off the HD before I reformat it, I'll need to install/use Samba and I've never been good at networking.
Sheeesh!!!
