1.13 ghz processor? You should have at least a 2.6 ghz.
256 mb of ram? Hee, ha, ho! My wife has a 900 mhz processor in her old Del and 512 mb of ram ..... and it is SLOW. You want to go no lower than 512 mb min. and 1 gb of Ram is pretty well the starting point now. Remember, those are top specs. A laptop usually scales DOWN from that in regular mode, to save battery.
Will you be satisfied with tin pan speakers? If not, there go the wires again for a decent sound system. The built-in mike isn't much good for close sound either. Another wire. You'll need a webcam too .....still another wire.
Laptops are essentially stop-gap devices. Nothing is really VERY good. The display is small. Don't count on the battery (refurbished) lasting you for more than a year.
You'll hate the keyboard and the scratch pad. There's another 2 wires to plug in.
