I know how to do that, I had it off once thats how I knew it was what was causing the problem...I just didn't know if it was safe to leave it off.
My XP is fine...it didn't quit and it has no virus...hubby got some accident money and decided he wanted a newer more modern one...he likes this flat monitor ...but I could go back to the XP if I can't get this one to my liking.
I always use a good Nortons and I NEVER open attachments even from my family :-)
right now I can't figure out why it says my printer is off line and won't let me print.
It says the driver was installed ok, and everything is hooked up ok......*sigh*
