Turns out that iPhones are privacy risks opening you up to commercial calls from the makers of phone applications. The applications can easily determine your phone number and 'call home' to pass it on.
Apparently Apple could have taken some measures to provide better protection but they didn't.
Are there similar apps which a person can put on an Apple computer?
