I looked at Opensuse a while back. My notes show that it didn't set up my /home/dave (had to set it up manually, which wasn't really any big deal :^>; the notes also show that I thought Yast was very slow. My big objection to it, though, was that I would have had to subscribe to receive updates other than security updates. Is that still true?
Me, I'm about 3/4 through with a re-installation of Fedora 12 alpha. It's been a gnarly install, and has taken most of the day. I still don't know if I will reach the desktop this time, and if I'll be able to complete the updates. I'm typing this from good old reliable Mint 7 on my laptop
