The only problems I have had with my computers is when the hard drive fried and had to be replaced. One time with one of them I gave the computer to my niece and bought a new one and several years later when that hard drive went I pd the $200 and had it replaced....would virus's or worms be responsible for the hard drive dying?
I have never had any that I know of...
The guy at the computer store that replaced the one was no help at all...he had no idea why I had two computers that the hard drive died in.
Now back to the router ;-)

What is the modem?
I have a thing that I think is called a tower...my monitor , keyboard, and mouse all plug into the back of the tower..also my printer and any other accessories I have plug into the back of the tower...so where is a box with a router and a modem??
