Neither team is extremely talented or fast, but both are good enough to be 5-1, both having lost to the Bengals. The rumor this week is the Defensive Coordinator of Westlake has put in the ole' Buddy Ryan 46 Defense(MINUS the Thanksgiving Day bounties of 1989), for their playoff run. Westlake will take care of business on their way to the playoffs. Prediction Westlake over WA Red 26-6. 2.)NWA Orange vs. Elgin: Does this game have to really be played? Thank goodness for the mercy rule because this score could resemble some of Nebraska vs the lesser "Big 8" teams of the 1982. Rumor has it #34 of the Horns may leave after the first quarter mercy rule to head or his recruiting trip to Florida State. Also, at halftime the Horns defense will preview their version of the Super Bowl shuffle. Prediction NWA Orange over Elgin 50-0. 3.)Stallions vs. Mustangs: Another big time blowout. This will be nothing more than a Saturday practice for the Stallions. Mustangs would of been better suited for the Ivy league this year. This week the Stallions pull even with the Bengals and are now tied for second place in the Corso poll. Bengals better circle that playoff game with the Stallions in a couple weeks because folks its gonna happen...Can you say Texas vs. OU? Prediction Stallions over the Mustangs 36-0. 4.)Bengals vs. Leopards: Ditto. Nothing more than a practice here. Bengals sleep walk to a blow out victory. There will be no Stanford/USC upset here. Bengals take care of business early and often against the Leopards. Predictions Bengals over Leopards 33-0. 1.) NWA Orange
Well I went 5-0 last week and predicted shutouts across the board. It happened in every game except LT Blk vs Mustangs, LT Blk allowed a single TD to the Mustangs. This week presents one very interesting matchup between Westlake and WA Red. The winner will be in sole possession of second place in the Warner.
