In Warner Division - IF WLBlack defeats LCP Timberwolves this Saturday, then SWA, LCP T-Wolves and WLBlack all tie with 5-1 records within the Warner division - WLBlack losing to SWA; SWA losing to LCP T-Wolves; and LCP T-Wolves (under this scenario) losing to WLBlack. Although I understand that playoff format not fully decided yet, I understand that one likely outcome is that Odd man "IN" would play RR Colts (#1 vs. #4); Losers in coin toss play each other (#2 vs. #3). It will be a more difficult challenge for the #2 or #3 seed to make it to the Ship - as would likely have to play EA in the Semi-finals (no disrespect at all to NWA Horns - and I am pulling for the Horns and NWA Sunshine Pumper) and pull off a major upset. (I know EA Fans - you believe not happening - so please save your breath and keep practicing in Texas to play in Florida) Of course, LCP T-Wolves could make all of this uncertainty mute by defeating WLBlack on Saturday (my personal hope). This would make SWA the #2 seed and WLBlack the #3 seed, and would set up a rematch to what must have been the most exciting game of the regular season. I think ESPN could market that game. Go LCP Timberwoles!
I have asked this question too a few weeks back, but never got an authoritative response. It would be nice to know the rules well in advance of the end of the season.
