But the Colts don’t do close. Lost in the 60 point barrage against the Lions was that the Colts defense gave up 34. Three weeks ago the Colts lost 41-14 to the Dawgs. Westlake Black has an offense on par with the Lions, but plays hardnosed like the Dawgs. Westlake Black sports one of the top defenses in the league. Last week’s regular season score was 42-6 EA. Horns became only the second team to score on the Jackets all season as a result of a kickoff return for a TD. Knows Nothing ordered a Bee Keepers suit and a Bill Nye The Science Guy 1001 Science Experiments Kit from the Montgomery Ward’s Catalog for this week’s rematch. What did he see that he thinks the Horns can exploit? He digs deep and does his best Lou Holtz impersonation to motivate the Steers. It works about as well as it did when Lou gave it to Michigan before they played Oregon. EA 39-7.

Round Rock Colts #4 vs. Westlake Black #1
Regular season 22-0 victory by the Chaps. When the Colts play, someone is going to win big. Would you like some data with that?
33-8L
22-0L
30-0W
38-0W
41-14L
28-0W
60-34W
24-14 Twolves in first meeting. Twolves are coming off of their only loss of the season and that could play into the coach’s motivational strategy. Or not. SWA made adjustments at the half and figured out in the 3rd quarter of the first match-up they could play with the Wolves, but the Wolves gamely fought them off and pulled away. The Dawgs improvement against the option could well be the story of the game. Based off of the first game, the Twolves should be the favorite. However, several weeks ago a Keltic dreamer foresaw a match-up between the Dawgs and the Yellow Jackets. Bodog does not joke about such things; it happened. That means the Dawgs would have to win or the Keltic dreamer was wrong. Bodog doesn’t bet against lucky leprechauns and the power of dreams. 21-20 SWA.
28-8 Lions. Westlake squandered a scoring opportunity inside the Lions 5 in the first game, so Bodog thinks 28-16 was a more realistic comparison at that time. The Silver Chaps have gotten a little more focused on offense since that game. The Lions have to be reeling from last week’s game no matter if it counted or not. Bodog cannot see Coach Allen going out to end the season like that two weeks in a row, so expect the Lions to be ready. Bodog has been experimenting with a new forecasting technique utilizing Yahtzee dice. Oddly they turned up two as the Silver Chaps lucky number. Maybe it means something, maybe it doesn’t . The second time is the charm or perhaps it means something else? The ever enterprising Bodog Staff filled the dice cup up with Dos Equis so unfortunately we could not repeat the experiment. The Silver Chaps haven’t scored more than 20 points in any game this season. The Lions need to score more than 20 to win and they average 32. The Chaps close the gap but fall short, 28-20 Lions.
