Congrats to all who were involved in the Swamp Bowl last night. NHO Gators defeated the NWA JPW team (JPW2) 7-0 in a very entertaining and competitive game. The game was a testament of what Pop Warner Football should be all about. So often we hear all the bad stuff.
NO CONTROVERSY, Good Refs, Respectful Parents, Good Coaching, Good Sportsmanship. In fact, both teams sat together after the game to accept their trophies and both coaches paid tribute to the other team.
Class all the way around.
Congrats to ALL who were involved. Just like a good drive that keeps you coming back to play golf the next time, this game has renewed my belief in youth sports.
The bottom line is YOUTH SPORTS ARE PERFECT UNTIL ADULTS MESS IT UP.
