The first match up between EA and WL this season, WL had both QB’s out injured and a key linebacker, along with various other injuries that affected their ability to play ball. The "real" first game was last year, when EA beat up the WL team which taught WLB players what they were walking into. Forget the refs, EA, if they had been the least bit ready, (players, not coaches) would have beaten WLB. But hard work and emotion beat talent. On both playoffs games to State, if EA had the same discipline and focus as WLB, it would have been no contest. One final note, EA, SA, and the Giants all played one dimensional football, a few dominating players that easily carried them past the competition. WLB doesn’t have any dominating players, which allows them balance and the ability to adjust if they execute as a team.
