Simply put, we had beaten the Minor Bulldogs from LCP twice this season. When it came to our Westlake team playing in the championship today, we had the support of the LCP community. So much so, that two of the Bulldog players helped with water to our boys on the sideline. All the LCP parents in attendance cheered us on to take home a trophy for the Central Texas area, we didn't. We took runner up 16-6 and lost to a very good San Antonio team. Actions speak louder than words, and I am speaking of the actions of the LCP Players, Parents, and Coaches...when community comes together and supports one another it cannot go unmentioned. My thanks as head coach of the Westlake Minor Team 1505 to the LCP Bulldog players, coaches and most of all families who supported us today; truly a class act....thank you. So often taunting, smack and insults rule on this and the other site...I wont change that by this...it demonstrates that the few can obscure the reality of both competetive communities love for the game, pure and simple
