Death caught up with him there, Red Dwarf exploded and he died. Hate to admit it, but it's over. It was a great run, but all good things must come to an end. Shame, really. I wish they had given the rest of the crew a "Smeg Off!" and just escaped while they had the chance.

Lister, Kryten, Cat and Kochanski all jumped into the mirror universe after they repaired the machine to open it up. The vending machine told Rimmer that at the end. Too bad for him that the machine was destroyed by then - chalk it up to good ol' Rimmer luck!
