Although I do think that series 8 does tail away from the idea of the crew being alone in deep space, I do prefer it to series 7 - I think this is because it series 7 was filmed in a Movie style way, and it was missing something - A live studio audience. I'm not saying I don't lie series 7, but it's definaly not one of my favourites
