I've been trying to find this web site for some time. It's been a while since I visited - about a year or longer. I've been hip to Red Dwarf since I was seventeen. I was disappointed when the movie didn't come to the States, and then I found out that at least two release dates had been cancelled in 2002 because of budget. I also understand that they're thinking about having somebody like Madonna do a cameo because they feel that this'll get Americans interested. YUCK!
If they're going to try to get an American in the movie, they need to, in my opinion, go with someone who's never stuck his/her tongue down Britney Spear's neck, not to mention someone who's never published nude photos of children.
I don't care how hot Madonna is, she'd only ruin everything. For me anyway.
I hope that the movie is released in the States, when they finally finish it. Most people here have never heard of Red Dwarf, but it's not like it would kill the American movie industry, since it's already dead.
I'm glad that Chris Barrie and Danny John-Jules both got parts in major American pictures.
It just might open doors for them in the industry.
I'd still like to see Craig Charles in a movie, you know what I'm saying?
