agree with Aidan, you can`t always change fuel filter etc on them but limitations are minimal, we use a short platform one which can lift virtually anything using different blocks, there is certainly some work to installing a flush fit as Steve said but if you can...I got a couple of guys from local building firm over a weekend and was charged about £600 we then installed ourselves, but again had to borrow a forking lift but sure you can hire one reasonable. We also have a 4M full length one (not for MOT though) it`s the type with built in lifting tables, these tables lift that high from the main platform it is virtually same as using a 2 poster! If I ever upgrade MOT lift to ATL I would go for scissor as when using shaker plates ramp does not `float` between posts. We also use new Sun & older Hoffman both these are Texo made and v good quality hth regards Rob
