Just one further point
If you read further down this forum there is a thread about a Mercedes dealer that contacted a customer after an Independent garage gave over a registration number to purchase parts, the dealer in my opinion was trying to undermine the Independent garage and get the customer back to the dealer. Will your new code stamp out this unfair practice?.....will they get a written warning?
Will the Motor Industry Codes produce leaflets for Independents that they can hand out to customers stating that they can have their vehicle serviced by Independent garages without affecting warranties
I know this new code is to protect customers interests, but it must also protect the Independents interest as well.......level playing field so to speak
