Just got this back from mini customer services looking for advise to service 08 plate mini due for 1st service, they also said over the phone to customer that if mini didn't service it he would invalidate his warranty

Unfortunately with our extended/lapsed warranty’s all service work must be completed by an approved MINI dealership.
