Locking at Peater pictures, this car should never have passed the mot in this condition.
It just goes to show how stuped this traffic light system Vosa site assessment is.
We had a site assessment a few year back, and we were well down in the red. When the Vosa chap called the garage was tidy and all the mot equpent were in good order, callibration cert etc
were all up to date.
They even send us the assesment result from the wrong gargae, which was down in the red, but a few weeks later we had our our results which was even worse.
I suppose we dont have a posh reception area with bit titted short skirt girles.
In the last 2 years we have 3 visits from Vosa (2 within 3 months of each other) checking vechicles we just tested, and they could not find anything wrong with thease vehicles.
In the nearest town to us the ford main dealer started doing mot for £25.00 a few month back, now all the garages in this area seems to by doing the same.
Common sense should tell you that if they cut the price of mot then the others will follow, and nobody will gain in the end. (only the customer) in their mind) because the land up with a big list of advisory items (which they dont need) or the get failed unasessary.
During the time i have been doing this work i could write a book on things that my customers have been advised to do uneassary.
Why change brake discs abd pads, shock absorbers, exhaust and tyres (they seem to be the faverortes) unessary) what about the envoirioment.
Sorry about the spelling spelling checker dont work.
