Being a member of all those schemes and passing ALL their strict criteria they should have had customers queuing at the reception door. Non of the above could bring them up to standard.......it takes a Bakers wife to do that

I think you summed it all up nicely.
There was no consideration for the actual technical proficiency of the Garage in that program.
It is a poor show I think, when "front of house" takes precedence over the capability of the workshop.
The male Boss in that TV show didn't seem to have any significant role & took a back seat. The Lady owner appeared to have a bigger pair of b******s.
There is nothing wrong with a strong female presence in a garage, but it does raise a question about the foundation on which the Garage was founded.
Was it her capability in the motor repair sector that paved the way to their ownership of the business?
To me, it just didn't stack up.
