I registered with TPS, they state it takes about a month to come into effect but I still get unsolicited calls as described above , I slam the phone down after their first few words and they never call back.!
BT are now doing a similar unwanted call registration system , cannot remember its name but customer services can probably help if you can wait a week to actually talk to a human !
