Thanks john for your input i am going to go to the automotive show later this month and see what other makers have on offer ,but i hope the smart will meet my current requirements even if i have got hold of the wrong end of the stick on its capabilities as i would like to stick to basic diagnostics, if this is possible in this mega advanced world we live in?
