    Hi Andrew

You have stumbled upon the eternal issue of community givers and takers.

Yep, the subs are cheap, compared to paying for the "hard yards - slow progress" it takes through real training and experience to profess to diagnostic expertise.

This is why some of the long standing members are now more reticent to provide good answers to he plethora of 'Silver Bullet' questions.

Picture this, Q: "I've just bought an XYZ scanner, plugged it in and got code 104, can anyone tell me what MAF short to ground means?"

A: "Yep, me for one, but it doesn't remain within the posting guidelines of this site".

As my dear old Dad used to say, "Free advice is worth exactly what you paid for it".

This advice should not be taken a face value, as there is an exception. Community advice, where takers are also givers, and exist in near equilibrium, is priceless.

    Nuff said?

    Cheers

    James.
