We've got two heaters either side of the workshop they are both the Infrasun make and run off normal heating oil. They don't have flues but don't appear to give of fumes or smoke visibly. I have carbon monoxide detectors beside each heater in case they start to poison us. We have noticed that the guys in the workshop including myself have been going home feeling very tiered and I'm wondering if the fires are to blame.(Please no jokes) We've had these for a lot of years now. We service them and replace the mantles when necessary. What really got me thinking today was this.
We're in the middle of having the garage re-wired painted etc. The electrician who is a good friend mentioned that he went home last night feeling really tired and went to bed at 7pm. He had been working on a gantry and maybe breathing in more fumes than us?
Are any of you guys using this system and if yes have you a venting/flue from the heater. And more to the point are you having any side effects.
