    We use the Alliance & Leicester (originally Girobank) for our merchant services. It is the TT41 machine that is used by lots of companies.

    We have had their guy out three times now and the new software would not download from their servers. We have tried it on about 4 different phone lines (2 in separate locations) and the damm thing still won't connect. The engineer kept blaming it in that they weren't analogue lines but he doesn't know what he's talking about! In the end we've said to them we want a new machine already configured or they can take the damn thing back (though we get a bloody good rate from them....even CardSave couldn't match it).

    Anyone else had a problem with this machine or A&L?
