might be a bit late but a fellow trader who does a lot of businness on ebay (rating 300+)recently recieved an email from ebay confirming his new mail address of which he had no knowledge. On checking his personal details/auctions he found 2 vehicles Merc @£35k and volvo £20k+ both buy now bank draft etc both vehicles offerd brand new and the most expensive thing he had offerd to his knowledge was about£100.00 Anyway contacted ebay 20 mins later they admitted common fraud somewhere in germany. they refered to it as rating theft.
