Stand to be corrected by an NT, but I am sure I have had forward dated tickets on a fast-track retest, for the NT to issue a ticket the expiry date of the old MOT has to be taken into account,as long as the failed item is one of those on the fast-track list and don't know from here if that applies to a seatbelt buckle
