mot spot check Posted by terry taylor on January 19, 2007, 10:13 pm hi was working on car yesterday when 2 vosa personal walked in,you have just mot'd the car still on ramp you passed it we are going to carry out mot on said vehicle.needless to say instant panic, vosa man said you have an a.t.l check on car forgotten can you show us how it works never seen one for real.nothing written in manual yet neither new if i was doing the test in the correct manner both went away bemused ant comment would be welcome. terry  Post a Response ( * ) Required

Re: mot spot check Posted by Tony Gould on January 22, 2007, 10:54 am, in reply to "Re: mot spot check" Had a spot check a few months back,2 vosa people asked for any car we just MOTed so they could recheck,They took a lot longer than the norm time and took wheels off to check pads as we failed as below 1.5mm,we got a bit of a rocket as they were slightly better than 1.5 and should have been advised only.But all said and done they were very good about it all.
