hi was working on car yesterday when 2 vosa personal walked in,you have just mot'd the car still on ramp you passed it we are going to carry out mot on said vehicle.needless to say instant panic, vosa man said you have an a.t.l check on car forgotten can you show us how it works never seen one for real.nothing written in manual yet neither new if i was doing the test in the correct manner both went away bemused ant comment would be welcome.

I have known VOSA sit just round the corner from my MOT station and log into their MOT computer via a laptop so that they can check/verify what is happening MOT wise, big brother is definitely watching you !

hi tony when they left me they went to the garage round the corner walked in told them to finish the car they where testing and to get the rover on the forecourt back on,they had done that one earlier and wanted to check there handi work don't know the result.

Had a spot check a few months back,2 vosa people asked for any car we just MOTed so they could recheck,They took a lot longer than the norm time and took wheels off to check pads as we failed as below 1.5mm,we got a bit of a rocket as they were slightly better than 1.5 and should have been advised only.But all said and done they were very good about it all.
