That has been the case in England for a few years now, obviously another case of the English subsidizing the Scots

You do have to remember that we cannot vote on Scottish issues but they can vote on English issues and we do have a Scittish (oops Sorry) Scottish Prime Minister who when Chancellor promised to end the cycle of BUST and BOOM.

I feel sorry for scottish garage owners, how tight must a scottish taxi driver or fireman be

I fear I have touched a nerve, and yes everyone is completely correct in their comments, yes the oil is under the north sea. North of Scotland which is north of England and way off English waters. The prime minister is Scottish and we are not at all tight because you are very welcome to him, consider him a gift from your cousins in the north. The Scottish taxi drivers are indeed tight we have a customer who thinks he can call up at any hour of the weekend and we will jump to attention and still give him maximum discount. The firemen comment I didn't understand ! but I can tell a story of them being so tight they wouldn't put water on a small tyre fire we had last year, they said they had a problem with the pump but I think they wanted the water for their whiskey. As for the voting, I am with Billy Connelly in thinking that no one should vote, it only encourages the politicians, let them go and find a real job. If I were being honest for a moment I would have to agree that the UK should either be as one with everyone having an equal say in either Scottish or English matters or there should be a complete divide, beyond that I cannot comment as I know sod all about it and would be almost certainly talking rubbish.
