DURA workshop storage Posted by MARK DUHIGG on November 10, 2008, 7:08 am Good morning Guys I am looking at DURA workshop storage cabinets as I am fed up with workshop tools scatted in various box's all over workshop. I guess it depends on how many boxes you need and how big your workshop is. I settled for traditional style boxes and put them together in a row of six. I must admit when it comes to spending money on hand tools and boxes I'm very careful. My workshop is only small and split into two bays so it was easy to equip. Having said that I've been in places with the full "SnapOn" set up and it can still look a mess. The trick is to spend little money and get the right effect.  Post a Response ( * ) Required

I bought a Britool box three years ago and spend the last two years trying to get replacement drawer slides as they skimped on the build and only put one slide on a large drawer built for two slides.Each and every part has a part no on it but they dont recognise the no's as they have 4/5 different companies who build the boxes but cant tell who's part no's they are. Moral of the story, only buy boxes/cabinates from a company who make there own and can supply parts when required. Hth Sean  Post a Response ( * ) Required

The boxes are from Unipart(Partco). They are roll cabs with the wheels taken off and then set on a breeze block base. They cost £160 + vat each. The photo shows 5 boxes total cost £800 + vat. That wouldn't go far at SnapOn. So if you don't suffer from the SnapOn fetish its the only way to go. Paul...  Post a Response ( * ) Required
