Anybody remember this car? Posted by andyhyoung on November 16, 2008, 10:52 am Andrew Young With all this modern day tech on current cars,there was a car in the 70's or 80's ,possibly a Datsun or Toyota,that had a sliding light in the fuse box that would identify a blown fuse.I can't quite remember which model.Can anyone help?  Post a Response ( * ) Required

Peter Macdonald Sorry, don't remember that one but we look after a Merc G-Wagen 463 1990ish that has a fuse checker alongside the fuseboard - touch the blade type fuse to the contacts and a small bulb lights up. Easy? I still had to show the owner how to work it !!! This is starting to ring some bells. There was a Cortina (?) built in Australia in the '60s with almost no fuses - perhaps just 2 - lots of electrical fires and meltdowns followed.....  Post a Response ( * ) Required
