Just received this email if anybody is interested -
Who Can Fix My Car have been asked to assist in finding 2 "TV Mechanics"! National Geographic are planning a show fronted by two real mechanics and we have been asked to assist in finding candidates for the rolls. Fancy showing your skills off on TV and effectively have your own show on a major channel? Let us know and we'll put you in touch with the production company. What better way to advertise your business than to display your work on TV, and get famous at the same time! So what's it all about? Here is a brief description from the production company:
"We are developing a pilot for a series for Nat Geo and are looking for car mechanics that could front their own show. They need to have the ability to be able to create a car almost from scratch. Each car and/or its owner will have a special story and will need our mechanics help. Our mechanics will need to be able to relate to the protagonists in each episode and convey the story being told to our audience, as well as having the skills to pull it off. This is an incredible opportunity for the right person."
The work will of course be paid and will commence in the very near future - some footage is required before 16th March 2012. So, if you want to audition please let us know by calling on 0191 269 6875 and we'll put you in touch with the right people.
