Anyone with thoughts on this one. Customer complained that car felt as though driving in wrong gear. EML illuminated. Fault Code PO0123 retrieved (Throttle/accelerator position sensor) ACR 4 checked out voltages etc with nothing un-toward. Code cleared and car ran fine after extended road test. As I offer a mobile service,do not want to keep running backwards and forwards when and if fault re-appears and then disappears when EML cancelled. Informed customer that on the evidence presented, the fault lies within the throttle control motor/throttle body. This model has a throttle cable which does not appear to link directly to the throttle plate so it must go to some piece of well hidden kit that talks to ECU. Is there a TB on this somewhere, or perhaps an ECU software upgrade. Nothing in archives. Your thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks. Pete M
