Paula,I was in a FDA device approval study for UVBI,it was in a NJ hospital.2xs a week for 5 weeks.In my case after the 2 week my blood showed unmeasurable amounts of HCV.3 months a blood test showed it had returned.Maybe if UVBI used w/interferon & ribavirian you could start drug treatment after the uvbi you could be cured .
