Hello, here I am, 18 months later and hep c free! That interferon ribaviron treatment was grueling, yes, but well worth all the bother. I finished tx 9 months ago and last tested one month ago; no trace of the hep c virus. I did end up having to leave my position, it was just too much. I could barely walk straight some days. I was severely anemic due to the meds & had to give myself an additional weekly shot of procrit in order to continue tx (treatment). Some days all I could do was stare at the wall - couldn't read, couldn't handle a movie or conversation. My, my, it was like living in super slow motion. All worth it! I can see now how that virus was affecting me for the last few years, really interfering with my concentration, my energy, my love for life! What makes me mad is when you search out info on hep c on the internet, you get all this herb treatment propaganda from some slick dude named Lloyd who just wants to make a buck and has no ethics what-so-ever. All hidden behind some "nice helpful & healthy herbal guy" facade. Don't fall for it. Or his trashing the "Big Bad Pharma" companies. It's just so crazy-irresponsible of him and his kind as they discourage people who might otherwise get help and maybe even save their life from medical treatment such as the kind I chose. Which worked. This Lloyd character sells herbal stuff for an arm and a leg and says the chemical medicine - interferon/ribaviron will not only not work but will cause permanent and irreverable damage to scare people away (and buy his stuff). Herbs are great, they have their place & I use them. But hey! Sometimes ya have to fight fire with fire. What I know is that the Interferon/Ribaviron treatment worked for me. No trace of hep c in 9 months! My Dr. says I'd have to contract it all over again to have it again. So this is why I'm upset with this joker Lloyd trying to scare people off treatment which saves lives. He claims it does not work. Well, I'm here to tell you it does. Keep the faith & God Bless!
