I have had many opportunities to talk with Danny at a lot of competitions, but mainly those at Muscle Beach Venice. He would always scold me when I mentioned (as the announcer) that he was from Walnut, California. He say, "Don't say that Chuck! I from East L.A.!" This was shocking because he looked so good. I will certainly miss Danny too.
