The Monkees: the music, the magic

Would any of you say that the Monkees had an influence on the Vetivers? I've been listening to "Love is Only Sleeping" over and over and over again to drown out the people in the computer lab who are talking when I'm trying to write a paper, and I'm finding it to be a pretty good song. Did Bess make you listen to that "Cuddly Toy" song over and over and over again? It arouses strange passions in me. Anyway, the Monkees rule.
