After perusing past message board postings, I have concluded that now is in fact the time to post my own long awaited message. The impetus for this message was none other than that of "Vetivers Ghost" posted over a month ago. Although I adore the band and their gentle folk rock stylings and would love to sing their praises joyously and ecstatically, I, like Amy "woo" (as they say) Wood, have been feeling under appreciated as of late. Having attended every Vetivers concert (unless I was out of the country) for nearly 4 years now, and on almost every occasion helping them to load and unload their equipment, taking pictures, providing moral support, wiping the drool from Paul's chin, etc...,I would like to consider myself a worthy fan. In many cases I was one of, no actually the only fan in attendance at their concerts (of course this rarely happens, as the Vetivers are known for drawing thronging crowds of screaming girls, often resulting in the tearing of clothing and pulling of hair). This being the case it is disheartening that I have not even been considered for the prestigious "Vetivers fan of the month" award. In fact, I cry into my pillow nightly. I hope you're happy.
