With regard to the Area meeting, there is a long standing problem [see Andys comments] that Area meetings are not well attended. This is not surprising given the fact that many dates never make it onto the web or newsletter. The area meeting in my area is the weekend before the AGM and 1 week after a work party on one of the local bothies.
