I agree. it'd be good to get a group going who are interested in hiking. Given the current (short lived?) effects of global warming, we should be taking advantage of the good weather before the ice and gales reach us...I'm 24 and have just moved back to Edinburgh - don't know many outdoors types. If any one is interested in the odd expedition of a weekend get in touch.
