Hi Guys,
I spent Sunday at Holy Cross Hospital, Fished a tour. at J and S fish camp, took timeout to walk the dog up the dike to see what the lake looked like, got back to the boat feeling a little tingle in my arms and heaviness in my chest, and preasure in my neck and throat area. The feelings lasted a while and it was a hot day of the lake, so the wife and the dog thought it would be wise to call it a day. We drove home and called the paramedics, and a quick trip to the hospital, there i was taken into the E.R. only to be transfered to the code room, when they put the paddles on my bed, i knew then, i was paddling up stream! A HEART ATTACK!! NOT me, 14 years of being a P.E. teacher, running, swimming, and eating somewhat healthy, well it happened. I had a cardio catherization, which goes from the groin to the heart, which leaves a stent in my right coronary arterey.
Spent a few days in there, home now, and doing better.
IF this can happen to me, that only means your day will come, do yourself a favor and make an appt. w/your doctor, ie: e.k.g. test, stress test, do somthing for yourself or at least your family.
Hope to be whipping your ASSES soon!
