Hey Guy's,
I just got home from the holy lands, caught 5 fish, weight 3.62 lbs. one fish was close to 2 lbs. super tough bite, 1st. place 9lbs. one of there fish weighted over 7 lbs. there other 4 fish were smaller then ours. (hard to belive). a few boats didn't catch any, the rest had only a few lbs.
All canal fishing, pads along the sides, the water in the middle of the canals average 8 to 12 ft. deep. the sides are rocky with a slight slope to deeper water. the water was very clear.
The 2 lakes close to the ramp are as deep as 40 ft. Last week someone caught over 20lbs. So the fish are there, but just weren't biting, Topwater, big worms, traps, crankbaits would be a good start. there are a few pumping stations along the canals, but weren't open.
Any questions, call or e-mail me.
See you at the ramp

P.S.
Saw a dead motorcycle dude, that ran into a guys boat and trailer as the fisherman was leaving Sawgrass, not a pretty sight. PLEASE don't forget your ass end when your trailering your boat.
