But every year we fish there it is the dead of the summer and you are going to see the fish catches down and the boat traffic up. But in the same sense we have all gone out to the lake and the winner catches 5 pounds...Not everyone wants to travel for every single tournament. I personally enjoy having one tournament a year there, it is close, it isnt a huge issue to pre fish, and this is our quote un-quote our home lake for the club. I mean there are places that we have fished in the past that I could care less about going back to i.e Holiday Park,Blue Cypress. But if the club wants to go, we go.....These places may have been great in the past, and may be pretty, but I have never seen the great fish catches there either. As always we will vote on everything in the club because thats the fair way to do it, but if it is on the sched it is on the sched.
