Re: good morning, new week,
Yes, happy birthday to Stan. I baked him a 3-layer chocolate cake and we'll be eating leftovers from Cheddars we brought home yesterday. I'll treat him to lunch at Longhorn's later in the week but right now we're a little tired of steak. I made steak for my grandson when he came to do yard work and we had steak for my birthday last week so we'll go out later this week for his birthday celebration. RM, hope you're ok. I have the same problem as you. Sometimes it feels as if my ribs are going to crack open because I've tried to cram too much up in my tummy. I keep saying I'm going to lose weight but it doesn't happen. Have a doctor's appointment this afternoon and I know she'll fuss at me. She put me on some heart pills that really make me lazy so I kind of feel justified at sitting around all day. I know that can't be good for me. Oh well. Glad to see the end of July and hope August slips by even quicker. But then it can take its time slipping from summer to winter. I love the fall best of all. I love the smells, the sights and the family get-togethers. I'm not crazy over Halloween although you know I'm not afraid to go on record for having nothing against candy. Well, yawl have a nice Monday.
