Just visiting U- Tube as in old age for some reason?
My old age and thrust for knowledge that I could have used earlier in the earlier days of yore grows anew there go figure.
Anywho it was about Coin Machines that harken me back to 1958 when I was in NYC for the first time as my bus / GreyDawg taking me on the way to my duty station up North after surviving Boot had a layover and there, I was fresh off the farm asking folks where the Tall building was that I had heard stuff about?
The Empire State Building was and where was it at?
And was ignored as I had heard NYS Yankees like most of the others had no manners like mine being raised in the south.
Finlay one stopped in a huff and pointed up and?
"Bamm" there it was how about that.
So when I got to the top the first thing, I seen an grab my attention was a Coin machine that you could put 4 quarters in and get a fresh new dollar bill and I was amazed and spent some time there till I ran out of Quarters but had a hand full of new dollars.
I'm thinking back that far them Quarters were the silver kind before the poser JFK kind "OOPS"
