I don't believe anything will change unless massive public pressure is brought to bear on both parties. Voters are being ignored. Neither party cares what is in our best interests. I don't call myself a democrat any longer, because I'm just as unhappy or even more unhappy with democrats than republicans for their role in taking this country down the rat hole. The only thing left to do, and this is probably a good thing, is for the American public to take actions on their own to force both parties to do what they are supposed to be doing, heeding the voices of average Americans and looking after
our interests rather than their own and those of wealthy corporations. Their egos are out of control. They won't stop themselves from taking us down the road to hell unless they must. It is our job to make them stop and pay attention and get to work fixing what they've broken.
