Reason I asked about the hog farm was that a rather obnoxious poster (ReallyOrnery is his tag) over at http://members.boardhost.com/freespeechboard/index.html?1099969918 Speaking of perspective and camping, I finally bought a motor home after swearing I would never start sissy camping. I can still get in far enough to set up a base camp and ride the ATV from there but I do love having a shower and warm bed, without rocks, handy. Its only a 24 footer but we love it and I couldn't go longer and still get into my spots. And as you are obviously aware those "spots" worth getting to are getting fewer and further apart. Anyway, dont be a stranger to these here parts and we will be seein ya. --Previous Message--

I'll answer both your posts here: My old man was the one really from Arkansas. I was born in Germany (war brat) but we did live in Arkansas for a short time (including outhouse and no electricity) before starting west. The old man could not stay in one place more than a few years.
says he is from Calif. Claims to be on a disability and running a hog farm. I didnt think it was you but too many similarities to let it go. Would have LMAO if it had been though. Seems like you have gotten over your grief now and that is a very good thing. My brothers son committed suicide a couple of years ago and they are only just beginning to come back. For some reason it seems that life has to deal each of us at least one body blow before we can look at life with any true perspective and compassion.
: Hahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No, but my son
: does work with a rather obnoxious fellow who
: owns one.
:
: Seriously, one of my children lives on the
: Oklahoma side of the border and two live on
: the other. My siblings both live some 150
: miles west in Oklahoma. I live about 50
: miles from the border in Arkansas. Don't
: ask me how the whole damn family wound up
: out here. If you'd told any of us twenty
: years ago we'd be here we'd have laughed our
: butts off!
:
: So far, so good, though. I love much of the
: countryside I've seen in Oklahoma ( they've
: allowed loggers to ravage the forest land,
: though) and the forests in Arkansas are
: among the most beautiful I've ever seen.
: Oklahoma is best for off-roading, Arkansas
: for camping and swimming, though my sons
: disagree with me on the camping part.

: My old home State seems to pop up a lot of
: late. You don't run a hog farm do you?
