Age old truths

  I believe the age old and abiding truths set forth in the bible, sometimes in parables sometimes in open statement, That God created the world and the universe and man and woman to have dominion over it. Man was seduced by Satan, God's arch enemy, and man's, and man has joined Satan in his rebellion. Since God is the source of man's life this inevitably has brought the curse of death with all it's attendant woes [sickness and poverty etc] upon creation. But God is merciful and has deferred judgement-the final judgement-until He could send a Saviour into the world, even the rightful Lord and King of all creation Jesus Christ, He IS the proper King of this world. His plan of salvation is easy to be understood, since sin has brought death and alienation from God, He has agreed to take upon Himself the sin and the curse of it of every person that will believe and trust Him [since trust was the gift forfieted in man's rebellion, and is how man lived before he fell]All of this was foreshown in the law and the prophets. Since His coming Jesus is King and He grants rebirth, a new spiritual life to all who will recieve Him as such.
This world is about to pass away and everything in it, God has set a time for that. But that which is spiritual or made spiritual will live forever.
All human government therefore is by temporary arrangement, and God [by and large] raises up governments according to the aspiration and wishes of a nation's people. The eyes of faith can see that when people's aspirations [what they imagine and think about]are fear based and violent, that largely is the kind of government they have. If they would desire peace and justice God would soon raise up a government to deliver that for them. But if God has a people in any nation be they never so weak and small a people, God will rule on their behalf.
So my faith is not in politicians, kings and rulers, my faith is in God, and Jesus will return for His people.
