I need to know what are we becomeing Vermont? I realize our economy is in the worst shape since the Depression. And I realize that in our State of Vermont we need to cutnthe budget or raise taxes. But when you have a Govenor who will not raise taxes to meet its needs, who can only cut money out of programs for the old, sick, haddicapped, mental health, children and poor. I ask what has Vermont become. This state where most working people make minium wage cannot afford to cut help to these people who need are help. He says he will not raise State income taxes to all who can afford to help there nabors only on a tempary baises. He can put it to a vote in March through town ballots and allow the voters of Vermont to decide.Vermonters have town meeting day in March where we go to figure our school needs and vote on our towns and matters. Let the people decide weather thay want the poor, infimed, mentally ill poor aged and children suffer as he would like them to. Hitler used these same groups and Jews for whatever mental problems he had. Do we allow a Govenor of Vermont to do the same. We just got rid of Bush who had no heart for the poor. Who allowed the rich to put us in the dire positions we now face in this country. Do we again hurt those who need it most because it's easy to cut them. Or because this Govenor can't come up with ideas to help his people get through these tough times and show he is a true leader.
